Kaongkod is one of the largest barangays in Madridejos, located in the interior of the municipality. The area is known for its agricultural lands, poultry farms, and vegetable gardens. The Kaongkod Elementary School and a barangay health station serve the community. Access is via the interior road from Poblacion.
