Any property owner in Madridejos (or your authorized representative) who plans to build, renovate, or alter a structure.

Service Steps
Client
You bring all your complete documents and 5 sets of building plans to the Municipal Engineering Office (MEO).
Agency Action
The MEO staff receives your application, logs it, and checks if all documents are complete. If anything is missing, they will tell you right away.
Client
You wait for the technical review. This takes several working days — the MEO will contact you if there are issues.
Agency Action
The Municipal Engineer reviews your structural, architectural, electrical, and plumbing plans to make sure they comply with the National Building Code.
Client
If there are problems with your plans, you fix them and resubmit. If everything is in order, you proceed to the next step.
Agency Action
The Engineer either sends you a notice listing what needs to be corrected, or approves your plans and moves to fee assessment.
Client
You review the fee assessment. The amount depends on your building's floor area, construction type, and intended use.
Agency Action
The MEO staff computes your building permit fees and gives you the breakdown.
Client
You go to the Treasurer's Office and pay the building permit fee (starting at ₱2,000.00). Keep the receipt.
Agency Action
The cashier receives your payment and gives you an Official Receipt.
Client
You bring your Official Receipt back to the MEO to claim your Building Permit.
Agency Action
The Municipal Engineer signs and releases your Building Permit. You can now start construction.
