The Community Tax Certificate — commonly called Cedula — is a basic document you need for almost all government transactions in the Philippines. You need it when applying for a business permit, mayor's clearance, notarized documents, and more. The basic fee is ₱5.00, but the final amount depends on your income and property. Who May Avail

Any Madridejos resident aged 18 and above. Businesses (corporations, cooperatives, associations) operating in the municipality also need one.

Requirements

1 valid ID (any government-issued ID)
Your previous year's Cedula (if you have it — speeds up the process, but not required)
Knowledge of your annual income and property value (the clerk will ask)
