Mandate & Functions

The Municipality of Madridejos, as a local government unit under the Local Government Code of 1991 (RA 7160), is mandated to: (1) Promote the general welfare of its constituents; (2) Ensure and support the preservation and enrichment of culture; (3) Promote health and safety; (4) Enhance the right of the people to a balanced ecology; (5) Maintain peace and order; and (6) Preserve the comfort and convenience of its inhabitants.
